I live just outside Shrewsbury, Shropshire and have been painting and drawing since as far back as I can remember.As you can hopefully tell from my site, my main interest as an artist is painting faeries, mainly in watercolour, but also in acrylics.
I have also been commissioned to draw and paint peoples pets, working from submitted photographs, on a number of occasions which is something I have always felt privileged to do. Prices for an A3 pencil drawing of a pet start at £75 including UK P&P. If you would like a quotation for such a drawing, I'd be happy to provide you with one upon receipt of a good quality emailed photograph.
Although the world of faery is my first love I am also available for commission to produce other paintings and the "Misc Gallery" should give you an idea of the commissioned work I've produced to date. I am used to working from a brief and providing "roughs" (usually very!!!) and an estimate. I would require a deposit once the final piece is decided upon.
In the near future I hope to get an online shop up and running from this site where you can purchase original paintings and hopefully eventually cards and signed prints. In the meantime, if any of the paintings in the galleries do interest you, please don't hesitate to get in touch. Likewise to any authors out there who think I might fit the bill as my dream job has always been to be an illustrator as I like there to be a story behind the pictures!
On a side note I use the spelling Faery in preference to the alternatives such as fairy or faerie purely because that's how they appear to me. Everyone has their own preference, none being right or wrong!!
